the Hand UP 
The historic core (Main, SpringBroadway) aennrt the only areas that are exciting. Yesterday I spent the morning visiting many of LA’s produce wholesalers in the industrial section, and was struck by how incredibly busy it was, and also how arts and residential elements were creeping in. There are cool bars and edgy murals going up on warehouses and factories.
